My Thoughts On Berg-n-Dal
Berg-n-Dal. A restcamp that is almost always on my list of camps to visit when booking a trip to the Kruger. Why? Because of the leopards. My favourite animal. It’s hard to think of a camp more productive for finding leopards than Berg-n-Dal.
Outside of the amazing leopard sightings in the area, there is an epic walking trail inside the camp itself called the rhino trail. The swimming pool is loved by my kids and the birding opportunities are endless.
As a landscape and wildlife photographer, the opportunities for photography in this area are a bit lacking and I really don’t like that on certain roads (ahem! S110) you have views of the agricultural fields outside of the park. It occasionally reminds you that there is a real world outside of this paradise that you find yourself in.
